For the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement
Successful promotion of ‘NHS Change Day’, a nationwide campaign for the National Health Service. On one day, 13th March 2013, thousands of NHS staff and supporters were encouraged to take collective action to demonstrate how just one simple action or new idea could make a difference, thus improving the NHS.

Website

Contracted to support a 2 month campaign of promotion through integrated social media engagement, including Twitter and Facebook.

• Conducted a website review and advised on improvements
• Website monitoring including adding content when necessary

Twitter

• Monitored the NHS Change Day Twitter feed

• Tweeted an average of 10 different tweets a day

• Researched and tweeted medical and patient organisations to gain engagement and twitter followers

• Direct messaging through twitter, responding to tweets, monitoring of twittersphere for potential news stories

• Actively encouraged followers to engage with other social media channels, i.e. NHS Change Day YouTube account (to upload their videos, and to read and ‘like’ the Facebook page)
